Updated 1st Jan 2012 -  UK Turnover in the Information Technology Services sector companies monitored has increased marginally by 0.2% over the last accounting year, to £183bn. Employee numbers have also risen by 0.2% to 868,097. Operating profits have also increased to £14.5bn, a rise of 6% on the previous year.  Longer term, turnover has risen over the last 3 years by 21% and employee numbers have decreased marginally by 0.04%.  See UK Growth by Sector section for more detail.
