Updated 1st Jan 2012  -  Over the past accounting year, UK turnover in the Household Goods and Personal Care sector companies monitored has increased by 5% to £86.1bn and profits have also increased by 15% to £10.7bn.  Employee numbers have decreased by 5% to 412,717 people.  Over the last 3 years turnover has increased by 91% and employee numbers have risen by 3%.  See UK Growth by Sector section for more detail.
