£4.5m hotel opens - 50 jobs created
Premier Inn has opened a £4.5m hotel in Paignton, Devon. The 61-bed Paignton South Premier Inn and 220-cover White Rock Beefeater Grill have created 50 new jobs. Premier Inn Hotels Ltd recorded £87.4m turnover in 2011 and employed 3,433 staff.

£1.1m capital investment - expanding Salford Quays hotel - potential new jobs
Premier Inn is investing £1.1m to expand its hotel at Salford Quays, Manchester, potentially creating new jobs. A four-storey extension will be added to the hotel, providing 28 extra bedrooms. Premier Inn Hotels Ltd recorded £87.4m turnover in 2011 and employed 3,433 staff.

£100m Rossington colliery redevelopment - potential new jobs
UK Coals property division, Harworth Estates, is building 1,200 houses in the third phase of the £100m redevelopment of the former Rossington colliery in Yorkshire. The 49 hectare redevelopment will also include a food store, commercial units, a pub and hotel. New jobs and business opportunities are likely to arise as a result of the investment.

Accor is expanding the Ibis hotel in Fulham, London with an extra 260 rooms, due to high demand in the area. The hotel will have 774 beds following the expansion. A new health club, restaurant and shops will also be built. The investment is expected to create new jobs.

New £10m hotel development - Joint venture with hotel group - 55 new potential jobs
London based property development company Reef Estates Limited, along with Premier Inn Hotels Ltd, have submitted plans to build a 10m hotel in Winchester, Hampshire. If approved, the hotel would be built next to the citys fire station, and approximately 55 jobs would be created as a direct result. The hotel would have 101 bedrooms and parking for up to 87 cars. New 6m Welsh hotel - Planning permission approved
Premier Inn has received planning permission for a new hotel in Wrexham, Wales. The 6 million hotel will have 83 rooms across four-storeys.
