£63m BP contract secured - 100 jobs secured
Offshore engineering group Subsea 7 has secured a £63m contract with BP for work on a major project off the Shetland Islands. The contract will secure the future of 100 jobs in Wick. Subsea 7, a £59.6m turnover company with a 5,500-strong global workforce, has previously worked with BP on similar contracts.

Aircraft engineering firm Avman is to create 8 jobs after winning a major contract. The company has signed a three-year deal with Falko, a UK aircraft asset management company, for the storage, care and maintenance of up to six Avro RJ regional jet aircraft each year. Welsh contract won - Immediate start - Completion 2013
Developer Helium Miracle 113 has won a contract to build the next phase of the International Sports Village in Cardiff. The building will feature a twin pad ice arena, a 150 metre snow slope, hotel, bars and restaurants.
