New joint venture company - 28 jobs saved
Norfolk based NPS Group, a property design and management service company has established a new joint venture company with Leeds City Council, to provide architectural design services for council construction projects. The new company has been called NPS Leeds and will be part owned by the council and managed by NPS, with the council retaining equal control on decisions. The councils in-house design team is set to transfer to the new company, safeguarding their jobs. Mike Britch is NPS Group Managing Director.

Creating 150 jobs - new operations centre - business growth
Advanced Supply Chain is opening an operations centre at Birstall, West Yorkshire, after demand from clothing manufacturing and freight forwarding clients increased significantly. The company is creating approximately 150 jobs at the 200,000 sq ft customs bonded facility.
