Mothercare finance director Neil Harrington has resigned from the maternity retailer. The company had recorded sales of -£108.4m

Hornby, the model train and Scalextric manufacture, has issued a further profits warning. Although its international business has returned to profitability, weak trading in the UK has continued. Profits of approximately £4.5m are now expected for the year to March 2012. Following a profits warning in January 2012, £5m profits were expected.
