Liverpool Football Club is being restructured by its owner Fenway Sports Group and its director of communications Ian Cotton is to leave. Director of football Damien Comolli and head of sports medicine and sports science Peter Brukner are also leaving the club.

Chelsea has submitted a bid to acquire the Battersea Power Station site in order to build a new 60,000-seater stadium. The bid is in partnership with property developer Almacantar . The process could run for a number of months. Chelsea cannot move from Stamford Bridge unless they can convince fan-led group Chelsea Pitch Owners, who own the land, to sell them back the freehold.

Fusion Lifestyle is to revamp 2 leisure centres for Charnwood Borough Council. The 2 million investment programme will refurbish the reception areas and upgrade the facilities. Work will be completed in November 2012. Tim Mills is the Business Development Director.

MDL Marinas has received planning permission for a 50m waterfront development in Southampton, Hampshire. The plans include a luxury hotel with a restaurant and rooftop bar and will be developed by Dorset-based Harbour Hotels, which is owned by the Nicolas James Group. Eamonn Feeney is the group managing director for MDL Marinas.
